As Strathmore was closed this morning due to a PGA Scotland event, a few of our senior members played at Alyth on the Glenisla course. The weather stayed fair and it was good to see new members to the club joining in.

The Seniors Section today welcomed Royal Montrose to Strathmore for our annual fixture.
The weather was kind and the course was in great shape. All players, both home and away, enjoyed the golf, the friendly banter and of course the good food to round off the day.
The final result was a win for Strathmore 4-2.
Our next match is away to Alyth on Monday 4th August. Meet 11:00, first tee time 1200. Team sheet is on the Notice Board. We then have a home match against Grange and Broughty on Friday 15th. Please add your name to the sign up sheet on the notice board if you are available to play.
The centre hosts a Senior Pairs Open on Friday 8th August. Volunteers are required to run this event which generates money for our club funds. Please add your name to the volunteer rota on the mixed notice board if you are available.
